Trauma-informed filmmaker/video journalist/multimedia storytelling mentor based in Inuvik, NT with over 10 years experience in film and photography. Karli has worked as a video journalist for CBC North to a community journalism trainer in remote First Nations comunities. She works as a freelancer and film contractor for various organizations across the NWT.

Caroline Cox is a shooter/producer/editor based in the Northwest Territories who has produced content for Animal Planet (US), CBC, FNX(US), GNWT, NorthwesTel Community TV and The Banff Centre for the Arts. She is also a member of the Writers Guild of Canada. Caroline's main focus is digital shorts and documentary film. Her company, Falling Tree Productions, has extensive experience working in extreme temperatures and remote, off-grid settings.
First North Productions is 100% Aboriginal owned and operated, and was established in 2004 by John Gon. Since its inception, Northern-based First North Productions has become a fully integrated independent production company that offers services and develops and produces its own media programs.
Our staff are professional First Nations' people, familiar with their cultures and traditions, their communities and the people of the Northwest Territories.
