The Inuvialuit Communications Society was established in the early 80s and has produced and broadcast its shows on APTN, Uvagut TV, and Inuit TV. We work to preserve and promote Inuvialuit language and culture by recording and sharing our stories and experiences. We have a production department that consists of a camera operator and director of photography, and television producers specializing in all aspects of documentary film production and local and cultural consultation. We also have a publishing department that produced the bi-annual Tusaayaksat Magazine as well as other graphic design projects, and soon to be print books and special issues
